I broke the input shaft on my tiller. My fault, not the machine. Ordered replacement parts including seals and bearings for around $60 only to find that Tarter changed the shaft and that the "old one" was no longer available. I was forced to buy an entirely new assembly for around $600, instead of being able to repair the broken one. Convinced this is planned obsolescence on the part of Tarter. The replacement unit is made in China. Go figure.
